The reproduction management of dairy cows is today
an important challenge for farmers. On one hand,
the continuously increasing milk yield has led to a
decrease of fertility rates. On the other hand the improvement
of the period between two calvings is a
crucial precondition for a successful milk production.
The eProCheck® is the first device for analyzing fully
automatically the Progesterone level in milk or blood
serum worldwide. It leads to a clear and objective
result. The test can be done by the farmer or the veterinarian
right on the farm. eProCheck® can be a very
helpful support, especially for determination of the
best insemination time and for early pregnancy detection.
The analyzing system is based on an ELISA test.
